Location One has spent the past two years developing the Location One Database Application. LODA is a searchable database that runs off any ASP webserver, e.g. PWS (Microsoft personal webserver) which ships with Windows 98 or IIS (Internet Inforamtion Services) which ships with Windows NT and 2000.

The same model applies to any type of network. You can set this up to run on your company's intranet or even on your company's website. The only requirement is a webserver capable of serving Active Server Pages.
